How SEO is working? and other aspects of SEO!!!

The intention of this post

SEO is the published topic. Still, I thought to publish my post as “OLD WINE IN NEW BOTTLE” (My Version)

Let's jump into the topic, SEO is the most important element of online business. The website requires attention to the business to sell its products or service. When business entrepreneurs are promoting the website by online, their primary concentration to retain or keep the site ranking in the SEO on top. That automatically will drive the audience to the site.

SEO is not an overnight race, it is a marathon that requires slow and study improvement to see the results.

There are 3 types of SEO,

1. On-Page SEO

  1. Keywords choice
  2. Content
  3. Meta tags

when you search your need in google, you will get a list of results. Those results will have a common structure on all returned results. Each result will have a title, URL, and meta description.

Formation of the Title tag, there are few rules to form the title on any pages for SEO. A title should have 50–60 characters, title and brand name should be separated by either Hyphen(-) / Pipe (|). a title should start with a keyword and ends with the brand name. For Example, “About us | Welcome to the XYZ Marketing company”

Meta Description is the other major content that will help the user to understand the page quality in a quicker look, below are the minimum criteria to be followed to form the Meta description. Each page's meta description should have a recommended minimum of 160 characters. The complete sentence of the meta description should be optimized with keywords, which are more relevant to the page content.

Heading tag optimizations, In HTML we have six heading tags with different dimensions of font sizes. In the case of SEO, we required the primary attention of only H1 and H2. There are a few limitations and expectations to be met to qualify your page with perfect heading tags. Headings tags (H1 and H2) should contain keywords as sentences or words, at the same time it should be relevant to the page content. The H1 tag should present only once on a page. H2 should not present more than 2. If we introduce more H2 tags, the search engine can easily find your page made just to seek the attention of SEO. That will leads to a negative impact on SEO.

Content is most important for the SEO process. When we create page content, we should be more unique and specific to the point which the page describes. Quality of the content will make you unique in the market for SEO. Don’t enforce the keyword to irrelevant content, that will spoil the quality of the content. Make sure the content should match with the keywords which you are using in the content. On other hand, keep the content in a more organized way and give useful links, images, videos to the content. Most importantly, please avoid duplicate content (Copy from another site). Search engines will give credits to the first published site. In some cases, if you inspired by other site content. Understand the concept of the content and write it in your own way.

The below elements also one of the contributions to the on-page SEO like internal links, URL, and page load speed.

Sitemaps are the very basic element of any website for audience and SEO process. Generally, sitemaps are two types HTML and XML. To start the Search engine process, we require both on the place. Search engines will find all the pages of the website using the sitemaps.

Robots.txt is another technical SEO element. This will helps search engine pages to be considered and pages that shouldn’t consider. Every site will have the robots.txt file. It has the ability to protect your information from the search engine, which is irrelevant to the search engine files. Using this file content search engine will start crawling your website pages. This file will be available publicly in all domains.

Keywords are very important in SEO, all the corners of the SEO will connect to the center point is Keywords. It is the primary element to understand the pulse of the audience. Depends on the audience interest we need to build the keywords.

Audience intention is the clue, which will help us to drive the SEO strategy. To get the flavor of the audience, we should know the direction of the audience on the search process. In common study says, the majority of the people come to the search to find something and evaluate the same with multiple competitors/vendors. Finally, they will buy or subscribe or own the things depends on the production process. To understand the above process, we should study customer intentions (What they looking for on search engines). To meet that process, we should be getting into Key research.

Keyword research is the process to understand the language of your audience, using their typing keywords in the search engines. It is the most accurate way to figure out the exact audience direction of interest and how they are moving towards searching for something on the search engines.

Type of Keywords

  1. Long Tail Keywords(LTK) is the most specific to a certain product or website nature, it will make the website a high ranking category. But it is a bit tricky to phrase it. When you make this kind of keywords, your website revenue conversion will be more on long-tail keywords. For example, “SAMSUNG Phone 4GB RAM, 32 GB Storage, and 42 Megapixel camera”
  2. Broad match Keywords is the next level to LTK. It will also give a reasonable good traffic to the website. For example, “Red Tape Shoes”
  3. Generic Keywords are the most common keywords. This type of keyword is highly competitive. But still, you will get reason traffic to the website. For example, “Computers”/ ”Softwares”
